Families that want to spend Easter together could go on an Easter Egg Hunt, which is a fun activity. You can use the hunt experience as an educational opportunity for your kids or simply as a way to make them happy during this special time of year.

Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 1
10 a.m. to Noon
Haines Park in Altoona
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled morning at Haines Park in Altoona! This is a FREE event on April 1 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. There will be egg hunts, music, an obstacle course inflatable, a special guest Easter bunny, temporary tattoos, and more!
Egg hunts:
10:30- 0 to 5 years old,
11:00- 6 to 12 years old.

A Quiet Egg Hunt for children on the Autism Spectrum or children with Sensory Processing issues who need a quieter environment. Children who do not need a calm sensory environment should sign up for the general egg hunt.
A Beeping Egg Hunt For children who are blind or visually impaired.
A Magnetic Egg Hunt For children with wheelchairs or mobility restrictions. Magnetic eggs and poles allow children to collect eggs
A General Egg Hunt with 2 heats: ASSISTED for children who need extra time or assistance hunting for eggs and UNASSISTED for siblings of children involved in any other hunts.

Union Park, Des Moines
Mark your calendars for the annual Union Park Egg Hunt. Join us on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10 am for this fun event. Kids will be separated by age groups for the hunt and plastic eggs will be filled with candy, toys, and tokens. Head up to the Carousel afterward for a free ride on the Heritage Carousel. A visit from the bunny is also part of this event. Hope to see you there!
Ted’s Easter Egg Hunt

Ted Lare Design Build & Garden Center, Cumming
You won't want to be late because, if you've ever participated in this event, you know how quickly it goes by. What is the highlight of this egg hunt? It is entirely free! There will be almost 8,000 eggs filled with goodies and prizes! Face painting by Rainbow Ray begins at nine in the morning. – 11 a.m.
